Job Description
Seeking an ambitious, driven, and knowledgeable Account Manager to take on a critical role in the continued development of our Clinic Connect program.
Reporting to the Scientific Affairs Senior Manager, you will be responsible for working closely with medical and hair clinics across North America to understand and address their needs through education, onboarding, and building strong collaborative relationships.
You will liaise closely with other departments to deliver outstanding partner support and to develop strategic initiatives that advance partner and referral targets.
We are looking for a dynamic, persistent, thoughtful individual with the willingness to invest in building foundation for strong relationships with clinic partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Represent XYON and its offerings to doctors and clinics, including cultivating partner awareness of the features of our proprietary dermatological gel system, uniqueness of our retail products, and evidence concerning their applicability in hair loss
- Build strong relationships with key contacts at partner clinics; enhance partner satisfaction by delivering personalized care, building rapport, and facilitating each step of their participation in the program;
develop comprehensive workflows to grow, nurture, and expand relationships with key stakeholders while maximizing performance
- Organize medical education sessions and other training events for clinic teams; accurately and credibly communicate science-backed information to clinic staff based on briefs prepared by the medical team
- Deliver timely, effective day-to-day support for clinic teams; maintain partner awareness through up-to-date knowledge of relevant scientific information and business initiatives
- Analyze partner data versus targets; delivers timely updates and interpretation, including sharing insights with the partner;
promote continued engagement in the XYON community
Solicit program feedback; identify partnership opportunities; develop plans to maximize opportunities with new partners;
liaise with Medical, Customer Experience, Pharmacies, Operations, and other stakeholders to deliver optimized partnership activities
- Work with other teams to develop required resources; create, execute, and manage targeted, focused communication campaigns specifically for clinic partners
- Utilize the CRM as a tool to effectively manage relationships
KEY QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
3-5 years of sales or account management experience in the pharmaceutical industry sales or a related clinical setting, with a track record of success;
Dermatology, compounded medicine, or hair-specific experience an asset
- Broad background in customer service or retention in a relevant industry such as cosmetics, retail, spas, salons etc. considered an asset
- Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology, patient care, and medical office practices
- Excellent oral and written communication skills precise and professional, both 1 : 1 and in presentation settings; Previous virtual interactions with Healthcare Professionals an asset
- Process-oriented and organized; interested in building workflows, protocols, and systems
- Team-oriented
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on evidence to identify opportunities and guide strategies; Track record of delivering strong customer knowledge and insights
- University degree (preferably in science, health, or related field)
- Expert level knowledge in Excel, and PowerPoint. Skilled with Microsoft Office, Outlook. Some experience with a CRM (e.
g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
Willing to travel within North America
