Ourclient would like to add anexperienced OutsideSales (Business Development)Manager totheir leadership team. As the successful candidate you have astrong background in commercial janitorial cleaning or a relatedservice industry.
You are wellversed in developing customizedproposals and have proven expertise in responding to governmentRFPs and crafting tailored proposals for private sectorbusinesses.
Inthis role you will rely on your extensive business developmentexperience to drive growth by identifying new opportunities andbuilding strategic partnerships.
Core responsibilities includeresearching market trends analyzing competitors and developingrevenueboosting strategies. You will lead contract negotiations andwork closely with internal teams to ensure business objectives aremet.

Additionalresponsibilities willinclude :
- Developcustomized proposals in response to government RFPs and createtailored proposals for private sectorbusinesses.
- Attendclient meetings to understand their needs offer tailored solutionsestimate or quote prices credit terms and deliverydates;
- Prepareor oversee the preparation of service or other contracts andconsult with clients postsale to resolve issues and providecontinuoussupport;
- Establishand maintain rapport with potential business leads arrange meetingsand promptly provide Head Office with contact details to facilitatesuccessful contractnegotiations;
- Manageservice agreements and price increaseactivities;
- Planand oversee new marketing initiatives identify and develop newmarket opportunities and implement strategies to enhance salesperformance;
- Conductresearch on organizations and individuals to uncover new businessopportunities and generateleads;
- Monitorand execute new business opportunities on various bidsites;
- Enhancethe value of existing customers while simultaneously attracting andconverting new clients through regular prospecting and salesactivities;
- Respondto client inquiries promptly and professionally; provide accurateadvice on the companys products andservices;
- Fosterand develop relationships with key customer accounts ensuringongoing client service coordination andsupport;
- Mentorand develop other salesassociates;
- Createmanage and deliver detailed business development reports to trackand improve sales revenue and market expansionefforts;
- Promoteand contribute to a positive company culture at everyopportunity.
Requirements :
- Extensiveexperience in outside sales in commercial janitorial cleaning or arelated service industry isrequired;
- Techsavvy with extensive experience using MS Office programs (ExcelWord Outlook) and a CRM program required. Experience with ZoomInfoor PipeDrive is considered anasset;
- Provenability to work independently and take ownership ofresponsibilities;
- Selfmotivatedwith a strong workethic;
- Excellentnetworking and interpersonal relationshipbuilding skills with theability to connect and build relationships with various individualsinside and outside theorganization;
- Abilityto thrive in a highvolume fastpaced workenvironment;
- Outstandingorganizational skills attention to detail accuracy and the abilityto put together proposals and contractsaccurately;
- Exceptionalverbal and written communication skills are essential to this roleas well as the ability to manage telephone calls andinquiries;
- Adrive to achieve sales targets and expand the company s presence inWesternCanada;
- Validdriver s license and reliable transportation to attend clientbusinesses throughout the Kootenays Okanagan (North Central South)lower mainland Vancouver Island Prince George and other areasrequired;
- Thisposition may require occasional evening or weekendwork.
Thisfulltime position is based in Kelowna BC and offers an excellenttotal compensation package including growth opportunities and aflexible hybrid work environment.
We anticipate offering a basesalary of $60000 to $70000 with total annual compensation includingcommissions and / or a performance bonus ranging from $90000 to$150000.
