This Bilingual Project Coordinator Position
Location is downtown Toronto as a hybrid model - 3 days in office - huge growth here!
Salary : $55,000- $65,000
Hours : 9am-5pm Monday to Friday 37.5 hours a week
French is a must!
The Role :
Taking care of projects including government meetings and presentations, letters, submissions white papers and others.
Project Coordination-60%
- Coordinating translation needs, accounting, to budget and department measurement
- Identifying documenting and delegating actions, items to internal and external state holders
- Tracking progression GLA projects and assisting government relations and legislative compliance
- Hit milestones and measured KPI’s
- Maintain and manage relations with internal and external stakeholders
Admin Support- 15%
- Maintain database SME contracts
- Contributes to development of government budgets
- Retrieves and complies historical data and processes GLA invoices and expense reports
Event / Program Support- 25%
- Prepare & distribute meeting materials
- Responsible for logistics, planning for government and legislative affairs ie (booking meetings, catering, arranging accommodation, managing virtual meetings and travel arrangements)
Travel up to 4 times a year to Ottawa for workshops
Travel 4 times a year to Montreal for meetings and workshops
Must Haves :
- Post secondary education in administration or project management is referred
- 2-3 years relative experience
- Excellent communication skills in English and French- they need to t be able to translate document
- Tech savvy- PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel
- Very well organized and able to multitask
- Professional and presents well
The Fit
- Junior with a PMP certificate or something related
- 2- 3 jobs in the field
- Experience with minutes- KPI’s, monitoring the project from start to finish, budgeting, timelines and working with internal and external stake holders
- Could come from a creative group
- Management coordination skills
