About the Opportunity
Athletic Knit is currently looking to add outgoing and energetic Customer Service Representatives both Bilingual (English / French) and English-only to join our team in Toronto, Ontario.
We welcome entry-level candidates interested in ongoing customer service and future sales careers, however previous experience in customer service and / or sales is good preparation for this role, as is an interest in sports.
A typical day as a CSR at AK :
No two days are exactly the same! You’ll work closely with your designated Sales Representative and their customers, managing new custom order creation and entry.
You’ll respond to follow-up questions via phone and email, ensuring seamless communication throughout the process. Your day might also include generating sales support materials and collaborating with your fellow Customer Service team members, who foster a strong sense of camaraderie.
It’s a fast-paced, supportive environment where teamwork and problem-solving are key. The job duties are shared below :
Order Management
Process stock product orders based on customer needs and communication.
Process custom product orders based on customer needs and communication.
Customer Support and Interaction
Manage in-bound and out-bound calls for a specific territory.
Handle overflow calls on behalf of other colleagues.
Assist customers with product details and pricing inquiries and ensure timely resolution of any issues.
Build enduring relationships with customers.
Sales Support and Communication
Provide transactional support to your assigned sales representative including order entry, communication with territory dealers, and creation of collateral sales tools.
Communicate effectively with inside and outside sales teams on information requests / actions required.
Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right process, procedures, and tools.
About the Ideal Candidate
Skills & Experience
Fully competent in spoken and written English.
Bilingual candidates should be competent in spoken and written English & French (CEFR C1 & above) - Quebec French is an advantage.
Entry-level and experienced customer service representative.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
College diploma preferred.
Technical Proficiency
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is highly desirable.
Proficient typing skills.
Personal Attributes
Demonstrated passion for sports is an advantage.
Intelligent and self-motivated with a pleasant and respectful demeanor.
Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure in a team environment.
Willingness to learn about product knowledge and equipment applications.
Ambitious and sales-oriented, while being enthusiastic and willing to learn.
Detail-oriented with strong time management skills to meet deadlines in a timely and accurate manner.

Compensation
Entry-level candidates have a starting salary of $40k per annum with salary reviews twice a year and bonus qualification based on performance, providing the potential to rise to $47.5k after 24 months.
Bilingual candidates will have a higher starting salary of $45k per annum.
