Job Title : Technical Business Analyst
Location : Edmonton, AB
Position Type : Contract (3 months, with potential extension)
Work Type : Hybrid (Primarily Remote, occasionally onsite for meeting )
About the Role :
We're seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our team and contribute to the critical Tech Debt Mitigation Program.
Your role will involve creating and maintaining comprehensive service maps for applications with critical security vulnerabilities.
This involves collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing complex IT environments, and leveraging tools like ServiceNow to ensure efficient mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain accurate service maps for identified applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather information and validate service maps.
- Utilize ServiceNow to create and manage service maps.
- Analyze complex IT environments and identify potential risks.
- Work effectively within a team and independently.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Adhere to project timelines and quality standards.
Required Skills and Experience :
- 3+ years of experience in technical analysis and service mapping.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software, and hardware.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- ITIL Foundation certification (preferred).
Nice to Have :
- Experience with the TOGAF framework.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Visio or other diagramming tools.
- Experience in a public sector organization.
