We are looking for a high-performing Business Development Representative team member to help us meet our customer acquisition and retention goals.
As a BDR, you will work directly with Sales Management and directly with current customers and prospects to ensure an effortless experience.
You will demonstrate excellent customer service and professionalism developing leads, solving customer problems and seek opportunities to present additional products, promotions and solutions to current customers.
Core Responsibilities :
- Lead Qualification and Conversion : Qualify incoming leads from marketing efforts, inbound inquiries, and other channels, converting them into sales opportunities through proactive outreach.
- Account Management for House and Dormant Accounts : Manage and grow relationships with assigned house accounts and dormant accounts, re-engaging inactive customers and identifying new sales opportunities.
- Prospecting and Cold Outreach : Conduct outbound prospecting efforts via phone calls, emails, and other electronic communication methods to generate new business opportunities.
- Pipeline Management : Maintain a healthy sales pipeline by tracking and updating all leads, opportunities, and account activities within the CRM system.
Ensure timely follow-up on all leads.
Opportunity Escalation : Identify larger or more complex opportunities and escalate them to the appropriate sales management or field sales representatives for further action.
Conduct account and opportunity assessments to determine escalation.
- Collaboration with Sales Team : Work closely with sales managers and field reps to align on key account strategies, share insights from lead engagement, and assist with pipeline development.
- CRM Utilization : Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all lead interactions, account activities, and sales opportunities in the CRM, ensuring data is clean and actionable.
- Customer Relationship Building : Build and nurture relationships with prospects and customers through regular communication, demonstrating a customer-centric approach to understand their needs and provide relevant solutions.
- Market and Product Knowledge : Stay informed about company products, services, and market trends to effectively communicate value propositions and solutions to prospects and customers.
What you will bring to the role :
- Strong listening skills combined with verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, with strong organizational skills
- Previous phone sales experience.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Digitally savvy, with strong proven experience in both B2B and B2C marketing.
- Ability to assess priorities and manage time and resources accordingly
