Our client in Vaughan, ON has partnered with Randstad Engineering in their search for a Civil Engineering Technologist or Engineer in Training, to join their growing team! As the Civil Engineering Technologist, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating in the areas of design, planning, execution and delivery of land and site development projects.

Responsibilities
Site plan design for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional developments
The design of linear infrastructure including private and municipal roadways conveying storm water, sanitary, watermains and utilities
Culvert and water crossing design
Multi-lot subdivision design
Municipal infrastructure, urban drainage, and stormwater management
Preparation of technical reports, approvals, specifications, and calculations
Field inspection of municipal services
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications from a Civil Engineering or Technology Program or equivalent combination of education and experience
2+ years experience, preferably in the consulting industry
Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Possess a valid Class G driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Experience and proficiency using AutoCAD / Civil 3D and / or MicroStation / InRoads associated with municipal infrastructure projects
