Position : Payroll Administrator Location : Downtown Toronto (2-3x per week on-site)Job Type : Contract (4 months to start) Salary : $32 per hourOur client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Payroll Administrator to join their dynamic team.
Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, you will work closely with Payroll Specialists to ensure the efficient and accurate processing of bi-weekly payrolls using the Oracle Fusion Cloud payroll system.
Responsibilities : - Assist with processing full payroll cycles for both unionized and non-unionized employees.- Validate employee banking details and ensure accurate TD1 (Federal & Ontario) amounts.
- Assist in the preparation of remittances, including CRA, WSIB, EHT, and union contributions.- Process Records of Employment (ROEs) using Service Canada's ROE Web system.
- Respond to and resolve employee payroll inquiries promptly and professionally.- Provide support with Year-End processing, including T4s, T2200 forms, and year-end balancing.
Requirements : - At least 3 years of payroll administration experience preferably in unionized environment.- PCP (Payroll Compliance Professional) certification from the National Payroll Institute is required.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud payroll system is a strong asset.- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
