TR Electronic, a world-wide, technologically advanced distributor and manufacturer of quality automated positioning devices and sensors, has an immediate opening for a Regional Sales Representative.
We are seeking an energetic, motivated and entrepreneurial sales professional to prospect, develop new business and service existing business within a geographic territory of Quebec.
Responsibilities :
- Independently manage your own sales territory, from qualifying leads to closing sales with existing customers and new prospects
- Responsible for achieving revenue objectives as established
- Manage current accounts and attract prospective customers based on corporate and individual lead generation activities
- Foster and develop sales channels with partners including distributors and manufacturers representatives
- Development and management of territory forecasts and sales reports
- Participation in Company trade shows and other strategic marketing initiatives
- Work with inside sales representatives and application engineers to develop sales strategies for key accounts
- Maintain corporate CRM systems by recording and leveraging customer data to drive new sales
The Ideal Candidate has :
- Exceptional salesmanship
- 2-5 Years Outside Sales Experience Outside Sales preferably in a Technical or Manufacturing Environment (Experience selling to automotive, food processing,
stamping, packaging, or other automated industries)
- Ability to travel within a defined sales territory (valid driver’s license a must)
- Prior experience with linear transducers, industrial sensors, feedback devices and instrumentation (would be an asset)
- Demonstrated communication, technical sales, presentation, report-writing and teamwork skills
- Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) , CRM, Web tools
- A diploma in Sales and Marketing, Electronics, Robotics, Process Control or related experience
- Fluency in French is an asset.
