I'm Fiona, Recruitment and Business Development Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment : temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.

I'm looking for an internal auditor for my client, a company specializing in renewable natural resources. This is a permanent position in hybrid mode.

Draw up the annual internal audit plan, and carry out follow-up and additional reporting.

Develop and implement new audit tools and approaches.

Carry out audits of accounting processes, accounts receivable and eco-fees, to ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Visit various plants, suppliers and partners to carry out audits, characterizations and / or specific mandates to assess the compliance, accuracy and efficiency of activities.

Present the results of work performed to the Controller and, in certain cases, to the General Manager.

Issue opinions and recommendations concerning internal control, governance and operations management to the General Manager.

Make recommendations to the Finance Committee as required.

Collaborate with external auditors for audit and other purposes.

Bachelor's degree in accounting

Professional accounting designation CPA, a major asset

Between 3 and 5 years' relevant experience

Bilingualism (French / English) essential for communicating with customers and suppliers.

Mastery of internal audit concepts, standards and processes

Knowledge of integrated management software, an asset

Strong analytical skills. Rigorous mindset

Good interpersonal skills and diplomacy

Available for frequent travel (approx. 50%)
