Proficiency in identifying third party requirements. Strong written and verbal communication. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, CS explorer. 7 – 10 years maximum experience required in the related field. Exceptional organizational skills and work ethic, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. An ability to communicate effectively Work accurately and efficiently in order to ensure high quality work within a fast-paced work environment Excellent administrative, interpersonal and organizational skills Proactive, action-oriented individual who is ready to contribute to a positive work environment Must have experience or training in keyboarding, database, spreadsheet, word processing and other standard computer applications (proficiency with Microsoft Office) Ability to interpret survey / construction plans, maps and legal descriptions would be considered an asset The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, industry, other stakeholders Alberta Commissioner of Oaths designation required

Valard has full-service capabilities for transmission, distribution, substations, foundations, telecommunications, and renewable energy.
The Senior Land Analyst supports Right-of-Way (ROW) activities by developing release packages and securing land and permits for ROW and construction projects. This role also manages land records for all Quanta Canada electrical facilities .
This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and auditing documentation for land acquisitions, such as surface leases, rights-of-way, damage settlements, rental reviews, third-party crossings, road use agreements, and ROW release packages . This includes compiling crossing line lists, surface acquisition reports, landowner line lists, cheque requisitions, caveats, and public consultation reports / notifications . Additionally, the Senior Land Analyst oversees land administration contractors on large projects, mentors staff , and ensures land management tracking systems, documentation, and software remain accurate and up to date .
Requirements
Project Support for Land and Permitting
- Prepare and audit all documentation required for acquiring surface leases, rights-of-way, damage settlements, rental reviews, third party crossings, road use and ROW construction packages.
- Prepare and update status reports for each ongoing project
- Maintain project line lists and databases
- Obtain third party consents, update and prepare Third Party Line Lists
- Review land title documentation
- Prepare final packages and register Company interests
- Coordinate lands contractor activities.

Land Research for New Projects
Updating and Operating Land Management Software
