FP&A - Financial Planning & Analyst

Our client is seeking a Financial Planning & Analyst to join their team in Calgary. The successful individual will be responsible for supporting the financial planning, forecasting, and analysis activities of the organization. You will work closely with various departments to provide insights into financial performance, assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Your success will be defined by your ability to :

• Assist in the development of the annual operating budget and long-term financial plans.
• Develop financial models to analyze different scenarios and assess their impact on the organization's financial performance.
• Prepare regular forecasts of financial performance based on current trends and business conditions.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to identify areas of concern or opportunity.
• Prepare and distribute regular financial reports to stakeholders, including executive management and leaders.
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial planning and analysis processes.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and automation in reporting and analysis.
