Job description

Our client is a dynamic private organization that has been at the forefront of providing essential workplace occupational health services to private and public-sector organizations throughout Ontario and Canada for more than 65+ years! With over 75+ full-time employees and thousands of clients, including big names like Maple Leaf Foods, CN Rail, OPG, Deloitte, and Casino Rama, their expertise and experience in the industry is unparalleled.

Compensation : Base $60K and $120K - $140K On Target Earnings with uncapped commissions.

Location : Remote. Must be located anywhere in the Greater Toronto Area.

Travel : Minimal travel. Only on an as needed basis.

Job Description

This role emphasizes proactive business development, with 70% of time dedicated to growing business within the existing client base and 30% focused on acquiring new clients. Account management responsibilities will be handled as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize a combination of cold calling, lead follow-up, and targeted marketing activities to identify and qualify sales prospects.
  • Pursue opportunities within an assigned territory, engaging potential clients to address inquiries, understand future plans, and generate robust business opportunities.
  • Develop comprehensive business plans to achieve annual goals and quotas as established by the leadership team.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to securing deals, with both new clients and existing accounts.
  • Identify new sales opportunities through networking and build long-term partnerships.
  • Present products and services to prospective and current clients across all lines of business.
  • Provide professional after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and foster trust-based relationships.
  • Maintain frequent communication with clients to identify needs and support business growth.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues to uphold the company’s reputation and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate agreements and maintain accurate records of sales activities and client data.
  • Utilize CRM software to track sales activities and ensure all information is up-to-date.
  • Follow the organization’s defined sales processes and methodologies to enhance productivity and increase sales.

Qualifications

  • A college or university degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
