Our business partner is a well-established company specialized in its field. The company is currently looking for an in-house counsel with a minimum of approximately 5 years of experience in commercial law , to join its dynamic team and thus contribute to the growth of their legal department.

YOUR ROLE :
On a daily basis, the legal counsel will work on a variety of contracts related to commercial law.
Your tasks will include :
- Draft different types of commercial agreements;
- Negotiate and manage commercial contracts;
- Collaborate with various stakeholders in related sectors to properly carry out mandates;
- Play an advisory role in relation to various strategies and activities of the company;
- Identify risks and participate in the development of legal solutions in the context of special projects;
- Resolve complex commercial and legal issues;
- Maintain excellent customer service, both internally and externally to the company.
SKILLS REQUIRED :
- Member in good standing of the Quebec Bar;
- At least 5 years' experience in commercial law;
- Experience in an in-house legal department is an asset;
- Business acumen and agility;
- Ability to communicate, negotiate and demonstrate good judgment;
- Bilingualism, both oral and written;
- Skills with Microsoft Office suite and technological tools.
