Warehouse Associate
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for unloading and loading trucks and placing materials onto extended-reach racking.
The warehouse associate also assists in the breakdown of arriving shipments and the building of outbound shipments.
Salary- $25 / hour
Working hours- 9 am-5 pm or 8am-4pm
Location- North York (Dufferin and Steeles)
Responsibilities
- Operate electrical extended-reach forklifts and normal-reach forklifts.
- Unload and load trucks
- Assist in the documentation of shipments.
- Counting, weighing, sorting, packing, and unpacking products of various sizes to make sure shipments are safe.
- Keeping an inventory of products in the warehouse and making sure everything is in the correct place and ordered if needed.
- Receiving and processing POs
- Follow all company and legislated health and safety requirements.
- Participate in all training as required.
- Perform general laborer functions as required.
- Pickup and deliver materials using a company vehicle.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid forklift certification (Counterbalance, Raymond Reach) is a must
- 2-3 years experience in a warehouse environment
- G License
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg (50 lbs)
- Motivated, self-starter
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal (English)
- Ability to speak Russian language is an asset
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable, dependable and self motivated
