Position Overview : The Pick & Packer is responsible for mainly picking and packing for either inner packages or loose cartons and making sure to pick and pack the right items ordered for outbound.
Also, reconcile the inbound items with the packing list and raise and rectify the discrepancies issues if happenRequirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic computer skills; ability to work in multiple applications at the same time (Excel, email, WMS)
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in a warehouse operation environment
- Detailed-oriented with the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment
- Ability to follow oral and / or written instruction
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with internal and external customers
- Dependable
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods
- Ability to count and measure accurately
- CSA approved Safety Shoes (green label) are required
- Able to work overtime, as required
Essential Duties & Responsibilities·
- Pick and pack items according to specifications.
- Meet deadlines.
- Handle small objects and perform tasks that require precision..
- Work closely with shift management and leads to accomplishing shift goals.
- Report errors and / or issues to the appropriate member of leadership to ensure the accuracy
- Participate in all training programs provided
- Performs all duties in a safe and timely manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
