We're seeking a qualified Senior Analyst as a key member of our Sales Compensation Delivery team. This role requires a person who is detail-oriented, performs at a high level of accuracy and efficiency, is well organized, and demonstrates ownership and initiative to accomplish goals.
The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively, possess very good problem-solving skills and is a process-oriented individual.
What you'll be doing :
- Manage the compensation process including commissions calculation, payment, and reporting
- Build / optimize databases and SQL statements required for commission calculations and establish best practices
- Liaise with I.T. teams on system fixes and trouble tickets processes
- Create / update process documentation on setup processes
- Reporting and analytics on Commission payments
- Implementation of special projects and ad hoc requests as required
- Ensure operational controls for payment processes are in place and are working effectively
- Implement proactive solutions to reduce compensation inquiries and escalations
- Lead cross-functional meetings with the ability to highlight and identify compensation issues
- Act as the subject matter expert in cross-functional projects to deliver new compensation solutions
What you will bring :
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a Finance / Data analysis role
- Strong time management skills, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
- Extensive experience with data and process setup, management, and analysis
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Microsoft SQL Server experience required
- Knowledge of V21, Maestro preferable
- Telecommunications experience an asset
- Previous Commissions experience an asset
