These pillars of their business have led them to great feats and now that will include delivering one of the largest transit projects in North America!
As the team comes together for this major project, they are looking to identify an Environmental Permits & Approvals Coordinator who shares their values and the goal of delivering the best infrastructure to drive our communities.
Duties include but are not limited to :
- Identify all application requirements for environmental Permits, Licenses, Approvals & Applications (PLAA) and co-ordinate with others to obtain the necessary documentation and prepare the application for submission
- Coordinate the submission of all environmental PLAA applications, ensuring that every application is complete
- Coordinate with the Scheduling Team to ensure that all environmental PLAA timelines for applications and approvals are accurately incorporated into the Project Schedule
- Document all environmental PLAA and maintain the accuracy of the Environmental PLAA Tracker to assure comprehensive planning that meets construction needs and considers needed supporting documentation for applications
- Manage relations with consultants to assure appropriate technical support needed is provided to meet the construction schedule
- Liaise with external regulators and governing agencies to assure application reviews are timely and efficient
About You
The successful candidate will have the following :
- Experience in successfully managing the process of procuring all environmental permits and approvals on transit projects in the Province of Ontario
- Knowledge of the Province of Ontario’s Transit Project Assessment Process, GO Transit Class EA Document, and Environmental Assessment Act (Ontario)
- Knowledge of relevant federal and provincial environmental policies, procedures and legislation
