The core parts of your role would be to :
- Develop and communicate category sourcing strategies, roadmaps, regulatory and risk requirements through the Third-party management lifecycle.
- Ability to research competitive intelligence including inviting potential suppliers to register on to the procurement platform.
- Act as a lead point of contact for Sponsors to execute sourcing and procurement events, negotiate contract pricing, terms and conditions, manage due diligence, perform financial reviews and reference checks, impact analysis and complete all procurement & risk related documentation (including project related as required).
- Work collaboratively and build positive relationships with internal / external partners to help deliver against their business objectives, driving value.
- In collaboration with business and technology partners, oversee contract development and administration including the development of bids / proposals.
- Liaise with internal Risk, Legal and Business stakeholders to finalize contracts and negotiate terms and conditions.
- Work with Suppliers / Third Parties as needed, before, during and after contracts take place and ensure contract terms, SOWs and SLAs are met.
- Act as the business lead for specific categories for procurement related questions and input to the policies and procedures, ensure awareness and alignment with the key internal partner groups including guidance on all appropriate authorizations / approvals needed and assurance of all contracts being entered in the corporate depository.
- Support in dealing with third party risk mitigation, issues, escalations and / or remediation.
- Leverage & continuously update Third party market research and stay on top of leading procurement and third-party management practices and continuous improvement.
- Maintain a full and up to date contract pipeline and provide assistance to ensure contract and supplier management is up to date.
Provide regular updates on the portfolio to ensure we are getting the agreed upon levels of service and delivery.
Analyze and report on categories and track and report on key metrics regularly.
Let’s Talk About You
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, complex contract negotiation, contract management, risk mitigation and supplier / Third Party performance management programs.
- Experience leading a team that can deliver tangible value.
- Proficiency in implementing and managing procurement software / technology.
- University degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related area; or relevant experience.
- Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (CSCMP) or other designation relevant to the role preferred.
- Any other combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills along with strong facilitation and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of technology-based suppliers and their associated products or services.
- Experience and ability to make recommendations to drive value and increase revenue.
- Strong financial, conceptual, and analytical skills.
- Strong project management skills and experience, with ability to organize and coordinate a variety of activities in a fast paced and agile environment.
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement leading practices including performance scorecards and benefits / value tracking.
