POSITION OVERVIEW
Keen on making a difference and being a key player in helping the organization make the mindset shifts required to support the business transformation and enable leaders at all levels to lead the way?
As a Senior Advisor, Culture and Leadership Development, reporting to the Director, Culture and Leadership Development, you will support BDC in achieving its strategic goals by activating culture enablers and creating impactful leadership development programs and workshops.
Drawing on your experience in adult learning and development, you will contribute to the needs analysis, design, deployment, and measurement strategy of innovative leadership development interventions supporting our cultural evolution.
You will also be called upon to facilitate virtual and face-to-face meetings and learning activities. Relying on your project management skills, you will be responsible for building trusting relationships and influence stakeholders.
As a member of the Human Resources team, you will also contribute to our talent offering and ensure alignment and coherence of all culture and leadership development initiatives with other key HR projects.
CHALLENGES TO BE MET
Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders on initiatives aiming to shape and reinforce BDC’s culture and values.
Analyze development needs, design, deploy and measure the impact of leadership programs to enhance leadership skills across the organization.
Foster a growth mindset and promote continuous learning among leaders.
Facilitate engaging virtual and face-to-face workshops, applying best practices in adult learning and leadership development.
Build trusting relationships, based on your credibility and advanced interpersonal skills, with leaders to influence strategy, decision-making and prioritization of objectives to be achieved.
Establish effective project governance by ensuring decision-making at the right level and integrating the appropriate stakeholders according to the complexity of the project.
Have a strategic and comprehensive vision to identify the potential impacts of your interventions, measure the effectiveness of the solution and modify the approach according to evolving needs.
Advise our internal partners in a context of constant change. Adapt your approach along the way and be comfortable with change.
Maintain a network of productive business relationships to understand needs and provide strategic advice and direction to internal and external partners.
Contribute to the development of practice by keeping abreast of the latest trends and approaches in cultural evolution and leadership development.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate would thrive in a rapidly changing environment, should be a strong facilitator and learning designer with outstanding dynamism, willing to learn by doing, and able to adapt his / her approach to meet clients’ needs and deliver results.
If you can answer YES to the following questions, you may just be the person we are looking for :
Do you have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and even better, a master’s degree in human resources, adult education, training management, or human systems intervention?
Do you have more than 7 years of practical experience in leadership development and instructional design?
Are you strong in the design and facilitation of participative culture change workshops?
Do you have the ability to think strategically and critically in order to navigate in complexity, ambiguity and change?
Do you have strong analytical, organizational, problem solving and self-management skills?
Are you able to build trust, influence and establish credibility in your business relations?
Are you comfortable communicating in English and French, written and spoken?
Bonus points if you are a certified Master Archer (KaosPilot methodology) and have experience in applied experiential learning activities
