Position Summary
Reporting to the Scheduler, the Junior Scheduling Clerk is responsible for coordinating the unionized staffing schedule while conducting various interactions with employees in the facility;
supports the supervisors with contacting staff to fill shifts.

Qualifications and Skills Required
- Completion of Certificate (Business Administration, Scheduling)
- Training and experience in office procedures
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to think analytically and communicate clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to display professional conduct at all times when dealing with all customer groups
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships
- Current (within 6 months) Vulnerable Position / Sector Screening (VPS)
Key Responsibilities
- Supports department supervisors at Radiant Care in preparing and posting unionized staff schedules and is responsible for the maintenance of the schedule daily for final approval by the scheduler prior to payroll.
- Monitors supply inventory; responsible for re-stocking supplies to the floors
- Answers incoming telephone calls from staff and takes and relays messages as required.
- Coordinate and schedule staff according to the organization, collective agreement and ministry standards.
- Complete line changes
- Processes nursing forms, purges and files charts, maintains records
- Posting schedules for all departments
- Manage the posting, removal, and assignment of the shift coverage signup sheets (paper and online).
- Participate and provide input into any new software for payroll, and scheduling, as required.
- Keep track of and verify invoices for Agency staff.
- Carries out various clerical duties and prepares reports, as required.
- Other duties, as assigned by Supervisor
