Randstad is looking for readily available Administrative Assistants in the following areas around the GTA :

  • Scarbrough
  • Vaughan
  • Markham
  • North York
  • Woodbridge

As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a full range of administrative services. Your administrative skills will be relied upon daily to deliver top quality support in a fast-paced and complex working environment.

Your excellent communication, organization, time management and critical thinking skills will ensure effective day to day operations! Candidates must be willing to start off on a short term contract if required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer and direct phone calls promptly
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Manage office correspondence, including emails, letters, and packages coming in and out of the office
  • Maintain office files and records in an organized manner
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings
  • Provide administrative support to staff as needed

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Receptionist or Administrative Assistant is preferred (minimum 2 years of experience)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Proficiency in computerized systems for data entry and office tasks
  • Excellent proofreading skills for reviewing documents and correspondence
  • Knowledge of MS and Google applications
  • Ability to type accurately and efficiently
  • Previous experience as a clerk or in customer support roles is beneficial
