YOUR PROFILE

The Financial Analyst will be an integral member of the Enerkem Finance team. In collaboration with the team, the financial analyst must carry out precise financial analyzes and modeling with added value in order to support the strategic objectives of the company.

The ideal candidate must be thorough, speak clearly, be dynamic when working in a team and demonstrate strong modeling and financial analysis skills, in addition to strong business acumen.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

Upon your arrival, you will support the corporate finance team in Enerkem's financial analysis processes. This is an opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team while enriching your career and working on Enerkem's unique disruptive technology.

Your Role And Responsibilities Will Be as follow :

  • Support the strategic development of the company and the execution of its business plan
  • Develop, apply and improve complex financial models to support the development of major capital projects, corporate financing and project financing
  • Participate in financing negotiations at the corporate and project level
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and other strategic business initiatives aimed at value creation
  • Collaborate with multiple departments and teams (management, legal, business development, innovation) to prepare financial analyses and assist in presentation to internal committees, partners and clients
  • Monitor market trends and conduct industry analysis to identify business opportunities and establish modeling assumptions
  • Perform other assigned duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate financing, investment banking, corporate development or related field an asset

YOUR COMPENTENCIES

  • Experience in financial modeling
  • Transactional experience in a financial context, an asset
  • Solid working knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
  • Ability to set priorities, strong ability to manage multiple tasks, attention to detail
  • Flexible, motivated and energetic candidate who works well within a dynamic team in a constantly changing environment
  • Bilingual French / English
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
