As a Senior Manager, Knowledge Integration, you will be :
- Leading the firm’s Knowledge Integration function maintaining and developing precedents, and managing adoption of knowledge asset development and governance.
- Leading transformational projects (document management, document automation, intranet, and internal and external collaboration platforms) by understanding the needs of senior firm decision-makers and users;
support projects with objective data.
- Acting on knowledge and business needs through consultation with key SME’s and steering committees to determine next steps in strategic projects.
- Working with vendors and key stakeholders of the business to support strategic projects and investments.
- Applying change management philosophies, communications planning and engaging with stakeholders.
- Establishing metrics to determine change adoption and project achievement.
- Understanding the legal technology market.
Knowledge Integration ( KI )
- Developing and deploying internal and external KI tools and systems that answer practice groups’ needs and objectives and promoting their use to encourage efficient service delivery in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Partnering with different practice groups to improve the delivery and reuse of knowledge within the firm and with clients and increased operational efficiency.
Data Strategy
Identifying relevant internal and external data sources, and mapping metadata between those datasets. Implementing data assessments to evaluate data quality.
Developing and applying an enterprise taxonomy to datasets to collect and deliver clean information across the enterprise.
- Developing methods, framework and new processes to connect disparate data sources; rethink and improve current systems to develop new data connections.
- Leveraging data analysis results to recommend strategies and tactics to achieve better client outcomes.
- Handling special projects on request from functional leads as they pertain to the firm’s data infrastructure. Researching and staying current on legal technology, and Artificial Intelligence (AI), situational awareness of current and forthcoming data science and business intelligence processes, tools, technologies and trends.
As our ideal candidate, you will distinguish yourself by the following profile :
Law degree required.
Minimum 8 years of experience as an SME and project / program or process leader operating cross-functionally, including expertise with multiple work streams and organizational change management.
6-8 years of experience in data innovation, knowledge management, change management and design.
Legal knowledge management background considered a strong asset.
Ability translate technical considerations into business implications and align with firm strategy.
Ability to prepare written materials involving detailed descriptions and explanations requiring the accurate use of specialized terminology to effectively communicate information to stakeholders.
Proficient in self-planning skills sufficient to schedule, organize and manage multiple activities of varying complexity according to established plans and adjusting work schedules according to changing priorities and time constraints.
Ability to lead change and effectively influence diverse groups of an organization.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
