As the Prosthetics Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the development of the annual prosthetic strategic marketing plan and collaborating with the Managing Director, RSM, Sales Team, PMM’s, Customer Service, Academy and Branding and Communications teams to execute marketing strategies, tactics, programs, and messaging to drive growth and profitability across the prosthetic division.
The role requires in-depth comprehensive knowledge of the prosthetics market. Duties are often varied and may involve market research, analysis and solution development.
Travel will be required in order to interface with colleagues, customers, stakeholders and healthcare professionals at educational meetings, academic congresses, company events and association meetings.
You will act as liaison between our global and local teams in order to maximize resources, translate knowledge, and provide guidance and education to our customers, sales force, customer service team, and clinical consultants.
You will be responsible for our social media strategy, marketing materials and digital campaigns, with measurable KPI’s that support our sales and marketing objectives.
You will work with the management team to forecast product sales and budget program spend. Comprehensive knowledge and regular utilization of our CRM and digital marketing tools will be required to support sales and marketing communications and develop leads / opportunities for our business.

Principal Responsibilities :
Ownership of annual prosthetic strategic planning process (involves planning, coordinating, collaborating, facilitating, and presenting)
Ownership of the development, maintenance and monitoring of the annual prosthetics marketing scorecard. Also responsible for the execution of allocated marketing strategies / tactics on the marketing scorecard
Monitors market trends and developments and aligns with Marcom plans and objectives accordingly
Plans and implements marketing campaigns and communications for new product launches / changes
Support global initiatives that leverage our digital capabilities and drive customer awareness.
Manages Ossur Canada prosthetics website and works to maximize site traffic across Ossur web pages
Analysis and reporting of measurable outcomes across marketing campaigns and strategies
Manages various external relationships (i.e. media, industry associations, etc) to ensure positive media coverage and image of our products and company
Develop and execute digital communications and social media strategy for Canada, including regular posts of key events, product launches, news, etc.
Product forecasting based on market analysis and sales trends
Intimate understanding of reimbursement pathways for prosthetics across all provinces. Build plans to drive adoption and product advocacy where necessary.
Conduct and analyze business trends, customer data and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities
Stay informed of latest practices in digital marketing, and new electronic marketing tools; share ideas of how to incorporate these into marketing plans
All employees must be aware, have knowledge and shall have received general training in Quality and branding requirements of Össur.
Training takes place in the Onboarding process and in New Employee Orientation. More specific Quality training is job specific.
All training related to the quality management system is done in accordance to the Training Management Process (QM1681).

Qualifications & Competences :
Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing or related field). Experience in the field of prosthetics a benefit.
5+ years of working experience in marketing communications and project management
Experience managing marketing campaigns across product lines
Extensive understanding of digital marketing industry trends, tactics, current events, and user behavior
Experience managing and monitoring performance / effectiveness of online marketing tools
Should be a motivated self-starter, process-oriented with high attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
Results-oriented; meets required deadlines
Demonstrated task management and organizational skills
Proven ability to interact effectively with individuals at different levels in an organization
The CA base salary range for this full-time position is $88,000 - $110.000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
