Position : Full-Time Evening Coordinator
Oxford Learning Oakville North is seeking a friendly and hard-working part-time evening coordinator (20+ hours / week, with the potential to become full-time) who is passionate about helping students.
This position is a support role for our management team which has been responsible for rapid and sustained growth in centre enrolment.
This is a very busy and thriving centre, and the right person for this position would therefore do well to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Soft Skill Requirements :

Technical Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field
- Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
- Teaching certification an asset
- Strong English written and oral communication skills
- Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory
Experience :
- Teaching / tutoring experience is an asset
- Customer Service experience is an asset
- Experience in an administrative or management role will also be considered
Position Requirements :
- Minimum set weekly schedule of Monday - Thursday, 2 : 00pm-8 : 00 pm
- A commitment to one calendar year is preferred, and a commitment until the end of the school year is required
- This role is entirely in-person, all candidates must be able to commute to the centre
Position Responsibilities (but not limited to) :
- Greeting students and parents at the door and directing respective students to their classes
- Occasional teaching online and in-person
- Conducting and marking assessments
- Rescheduling classes
- Answering phone calls
- Reviewing student programs
- Supporting the management team during evening classes
- Supporting the teachers during evening classes
- Following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
- Filling in post-lesson notes
- Completing daily student communication updates
- Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times
Job Type : Part-time
Salary : $18 - $20 / hour
Schedule :
- Monday to Thursday evenings
- Fridays
- Saturday morning availability
