We're seeking a candidate who can navigate the intricate world of Canadian and US personal and payroll tax services, providing exceptional service to our multinational clients.
But that's not all. This role also involves navigating various technical, administrative, and support functions related to our clients' expatriate tax programs with our Global Practice hubs.
The ideal candidate will identify areas within our tax services that can be streamlined for efficiency and consistency. By leveraging technology, they will automate repetitive tasks, reducing manual effort and increasing accuracy.
This strategic approach will not only enhance our service delivery but also add more value to our multinational clients.
The candidate's contributions towards practice standardization and automation will be instrumental in driving the effectiveness and efficiency of our Global Practice hubs.

What you will do
- Work closely with our Partners and senior team members, supporting the corporate relationship, to run client engagements, and advise / assist clients on planning opportunities, tax strategies, and compliance issues.
- Manage the lifecycle of individual Canadian and / or US tax compliance, cross-border payroll, tax equalizations, tax authority inquiries and tax briefings with assignees .
- Review the work of junior staff for accuracy and completeness.
- Provide ongoing support and mentoring to team members; creating a learning environment where they can reach their highest potential .
- Work with the team on business development opportunities
- Build relationships with our global network.
- Opportunities to be involved in various aspects of the business such as business development, industry events, training, automation, social events.
What you bring to the role
- Minimum 4 years' experience in Canadian and / or US tax compliance for individuals.
- Completion of a post-secondary undergraduate degree.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written, to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Demonstrated experience organizing and executing on client engagements while acting as a trusted business advisor.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines .
- Dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service and professionalism.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Strong sense of financial management
- Excellent computer skills - Excel experience is required. Advanced excel skills such as VB, Alteryx, considered an asset.

- Canadian Professional designation (CPA)
- US Professional designation (US CPA or EA)
- Language skills - French
- Data and Analytics and / or AI experience
