I am working with a unique brokerage in search of an experienced Manager to lead a Property and Casualty team. This role is fully remote but requires the incumbent to be in Ontario and hold a Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) license.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in either personal lines home and auto insurance, commercial insurance or both.
They must also possess the ability to lead and inspire a team while fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Leadership : Provide effective leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of insurance brokers, ensuring they meet and exceed performance targets, adhere to industry standards, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Team Development : Foster a culture of professional growth, knowledge enhancement, and skill development among team members.
Support ongoing training and development initiatives.
- Client Relations : Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met and that the brokerage delivers the highest level of customer service.
- Workflow Management : Oversee day-to-day operations, including onboarding, policy issuance, renewals, and claims processing, to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Personal Lines Expertise : Utilize your in-depth knowledge of personal lines home and auto insurance to guide the team in servicing their clients to the best of their abilities.
- Commercial Insurance (Preferred) : While not mandatory, experience in commercial insurance is a plus, as it can provide valuable insights and support for clients with diverse needs.
- Adaptability : Be open to learning and adapting to new technologies, processes, and industry changes to keep the brokerage efficient.
- Collaboration : Foster a collaborative environment where team members feel comfortable sharing ideas, feedback, and solutions to improve the brokerage's operations and service quality.
Qualifications :
- Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) License is mandatory.
- Proven experience in managing a team of insurance professionals.
- Strong background in personal lines home and auto insurance.
- Knowledge of commercial insurance (preferred).
- Familiarity with EPIC insurance management software (preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Open-minded, approachable, and receptive to new ideas.
- Ability to work remotely and independently while maintaining team cohesion.
