Description

Position Overview :

The Junior Project Manager will assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects under the supervision of a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager.

This role is ideal for an aspiring project manager who is looking to gain hands-on experience and develop their project management skills in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities : Project Coordination :

  • Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Support project kick-off meetings and continuously monitor project progress.
  • Invoice and forecasting tracking, including adding project codes and following up on approvals.
  • Managing the on boarding and off boarding of resources

Communication :

  • Serve as a point of contact for project stakeholders and team members.
  • Prepare and distribute project status reports.

Documentation :

  • Maintain project documentation, including plans, meeting minutes, and risk logs.
  • Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.

Task Management :

  • Help with task assignments and follow up on deliverables to ensure timely completion.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.

Risk Management :

  • Assist in identifying and assessing project risks and issues.
  • Support the development of mitigation strategies.

Team Collaboration :

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
  • Email Distribution list maintenance

Process Improvement :

Identify areas for process improvement and support the implementation of best practices.

Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience : 0-2 years of experience in project management or a related field. Internship experience may be considered.
  • Skills :
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies (., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
  • Certifications : Project Management certification (., CAPM, PSM) is a plus but not required.
