Adecco is seeking a qualified Mineral Land Analyst for a full-time, long-term contract with a reputable oil and gas company located in Calgary, AB.
This role involves supporting the Mineral Land and Contracts Team in reviewing, identifying, and correcting errors in our CS Land database, ensuring consistency with established processes and procedures.
The successful candidate will collaborate with team members and division managers to standardize land data following historical acquisitions, mergers, and database conversions.

Duties and Responsibilities :
- Provides mineral land support to Contracts Analysts and Land Negotiators
- Assists in entering land expiry comments in concurrence with the expiry process
- Crown Land Sales co-ordinates posting lands with Negotiator and completing sales when required
- Prepares and submits caveats, withdrawals, discharges and transfers of caveats to land titles office and advises partner and freehold owners
- Verifies documentation prepared by Broker for newly acquired Freehold leases
- Responsible for trespass and understanding how to handle / prevent trespass
- Assists with acquisitions and dispositions as required
- Maintains mineral lease records in CS land system ensuring documents are correctly filed and pertinent information is in files
- Responds to internal and external queries and assists or directs to resolve
- Prepares Fee Title Lease outs, issues offset notices, initiate title review, lease out decisions and prepare Fee Title Leases
- Handles BC Crown ePayments, Assignments, and title searches
- Communicates with Freeholders, Partners, Government Agencies
- Identifies, maintains and follows-up with obligation reports within CS
- Processes NOAs with Contract Analyst as required
- Uses ETS / ISC to obtain searches, complete transfers, offset applications and continuations
- Uses SPIN / IRIS to obtain Land title information
- Receives and distributes Crown / Freehold offset notices, responses for elections, advising partners and updating CS
- Understands Lessor estates and ownership changes requests sets-up and changes to vendors
- Completes the mineral land portion of the Notice to Review (NTR) process in a timely fashion
- Verifies, codes and approves land invoices
Requirements and Qualifications :
- Preferred graduate of a recognized Land Program, or equivalent education and experience
- 5-15 years of oil and gas land administration experience required
- Recent experience (within the last 12 months) managing daily mineral lease work
- CAPLA Member (Canadian Association of Petroleum Land Administration)
- Proficient in linking wells and applying well allocations across multiple agreements in CS
- In-depth knowledge of Alberta and British Columbia Crown regulations, Freehold, and Fee title administration
- Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada
