Position : Accounts Payable and Receivable Technician - HybridLocation : MontrealSalary : $65 000 to $75,000 - Based on experienceBenefits : Full benefits, pension and bonus structure, Hybrid 3 days in office, 4 weeks of vacationOur client a well-established firm is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable and Receivable Technician to manage their accounts payable and receivable functions and handle financial reporting for various entities.
This role reports directly to the Accounting Manager and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a leading company recognized for excellence and a broad range of successful ventures.
Key Responsibilities : - Manage Accounts Payable transactions across multiple individuals and entities - Process Accounts Receivable transactions and manage Revenue, Property, Plant & Equipment cycles- File monthly and quarterly sales tax returns- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports as required- Conduct general accounting tasks and generate reports for senior accounting review- Reconcile bank statements, investment accounts, and other financial documents- Support audit preparations by providing necessary documentation- Record financial transactions accurately in the accounting system- Analyze financial data for accuracy and consistencyQualifications : - Post-secondary degree in accounting.
At least 5 years of experience in an accounting environment.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel; Microsoft Dynamics and FIS Investran is an asset.
