Who we need

Nomis Solutions is seeking an exceptional Pre-Sales Engineer to work alongside our Account Executives in the US and Canada;

someone passionate about taking on challenges and working with our clients and prospects to propel their businesses forward.

You will be a collaborative partner bridging the gap between our sales and product teams by playing the essential role of subject matter expert in our sales processes and partnering with our product and marketing teams to drive our offering and messaging forward.

As a provider of best in class pricing and profitability management software to financial services providers, you will display a deep understanding of banking and financial institutions operating models and profitability drivers and translate that into compelling value propositions and demos of our software.

We are looking for someone who has an extensive working knowledge of the Mortgage (ideally residential) space in either Canada or the US.

What you will do :

  • Earn trust. You will foster trusting working relationships with current clients and prospects, understand their objectives and challenges, and identify solutions that move their business forward.
  • Be a subject matter expert . You will build out your knowledge of our solutions and identify tangible opportunities for our software to create value for new and existing clients.

You will deliver compelling, differentiated demos of our solutions that communicate a clear value proposition and are tailored to the prospect’s objectives.

Collaborate. You will partner with the Marketing Team to create presentation materials across various channels (sales decks, videos, blogs, etc.

You will work with our product organization, leveraging your ongoing dialogue with clients and prospects to ensure our roadmap is properly positioned to address their needs and capitalize on market opportunities.

What you bring :

Consulting experience. You have 10+ years in a consulting or senior advisory role focused on asset and liability management or you might be working in SaaS Pre-sales for the banking and financial industry.

You possess rare problem solving skills combined with sales instincts and the ability to nurture trust and influence decision-makers.

You are a genuine consultative partner to clients and prospects, asking intelligent questions and gaining an understanding of their objectives to help solve them through the value propositions of software solutions.

Interpersonal skills. You thrive in an autonomous role and you are also a valuable team member. You can have an authentic and engaging communication style.

You can draw on your ability to translate data analytics to confidently present business insights and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences at any level.
