New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company is seeking an Enterprise Architect to help our client with the expansion of an innovative solution that bridges clinical care, research, and technology to improve patient outcomes.
The intent is to expand its operations and capabilities to address a broader range of chronic conditions than the current Childhood Type 1 Diabetes focus.
Responsibilities :
- Lead architecture design, focusing on modular, scalable, and future-proof components.
- Align the expanded solution with the existing Architecture Design Principles.
- Lean and cost-effective
- Architecture components and tooling are lean and cost-effective in terms of build and operational costs
- Cloud native technologies are used to leverage out-of-the-box (OOTB) features.
- Only necessary platform capabilities are built
- Modular capability model
- Designed with modular, pluggable components
- Components are not tightly coupled with each other, and each serves a dedicated capability.
- Easy to integrate with other capabilities and toolsets
- Future proofing and scalability
- Future expansion across geographies and use cases is considered

- Microservice-led design ensures loose coupling of components
- Infrastructure is designed for hosting in an Open Cloud environment

- Integrate with external systems, such as external medical devices, Active Directory, and a Registry.

- External Partner Interface and Features
- Scheduled device data
- On-demand device data
- Scheduled data pull from External Partner
- De-identification of Data for Research

Requirements :
- 8+ years of experience in healthcare environments.
- 6+ years of experience with Enterprise or Solution Architecture for healthcare systems.
- Experience in chronic disease management solutions is beneficial.
- Experience with large organizations in the healthcare space.
- Proven track record in designing personalized healthcare solutions integrating clinical data.
- Experience with cloud platforms.
- Experience with Lean architecture design principles
- Strong knowledge of microservices and modular architecture for scalable solutions.
- Expertise in data governance to ensure a single source of truth and manage data ownership.
- Proficient in healthcare data security and compliance (e.g., HIPAA, PHIPA).
- Deep understanding of chronic care management and continuous patient monitoring needs.
- Experience integrating wearable technology with clinical data sources for seamless data flow.
- Skilled in using analytics for research insights to enhance patient outcomes.
- Ability to design or collaborate on intuitive, simple UI / UX for diverse users.
- Awareness of accessibility needs for non-technical users.
- Strong communication skills for translating technical needs into user-friendly solutions.
