The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for all facets of day-to day sales of Company products in the assigned branch or region.
Responsible for implementing sales strategies and achieving personal and group sales objectives. Strives for customer satisfaction.
This position is located in Edmonton, Alberta, with frequent travel within the region.ln addition to annual initiatives, the key accountabilities of this position are : Sales Related Activities Manages assigned sales territory within Company pricing guidelines.
Coordinates all related activities in sales territory. Provides feedback to other departments as required. Responsible for getting Armstrong product specified with consulting engineers in Edmonton.
and communicating the Armstrong value proposition to engineers, contractors and owners. Responsible for maintaining good working relationships with all sales channels (owners, wholesalers, OEM, mechanical contractors, pump and repair shops).
Responsible for assisting in establishing goals and objectives for the Sales group. Supports special projects as assigned by management.
Produces bi-weekly market activity reports and update activities on CRM. Customer Support Maintains all departmental policies and procedures.
Resolves disputes in a timely manner. Responsibilities include obtaining satisfactory customer contracts and ensuring accurate contracts verification and order processing.
Measures and reports daily / quarterly / annual reports as required by management. Maintains customer and competitor records and participates in Sales Planning Sessions.
Interacts with Company marketing operatives to provide feedback on initiatives. Analyzes and reports customer feedback for continuous market share improvement.
Role Requirements University Engineering or College technical degree preferred from a Mechanical Engineering program. Minimum 5 years’ experience in an industry related direct sale.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. HVAC product and HVAC systems knowledge. HVAC product selection software experience.
PC literate, and high-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Self-starter and ability to work independently. Creative problem-solving skills, conflict management within different organizations (centralized and matrix organizational structures).
Ability to break down complex problems in a simplified way, conduct root cause analysis and provide clear, well thought out recommendations.
Strong, team-oriented leadership skills with presence and a bias for action. Self-directed with ability to work autonomously and collaboratively and a focus on results.
Ability to communicate in an open and authentic manner in all situations.
