A career in our Financial Risk Management practice will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to a variety of consulting and assurance services to design solutions that address our clients' complex accounting and financial reporting challenges, as well as solving their broader business issues, including but not limited to hedging, risk management governance and strategies, capital market transactions and regulatory requirements.

You will work as part of a team of problem solvers and develop technical skills in complex accounting, treasury, risk management, capital market products and regulatory requirements.
Meaningful work you'll be part of
As a Financial Risk Management Treasury and Accounting Senior Associate , y ou'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Evaluate, develop or advise on risk management frameworks, policies, procedures, controls, tools and solutions for all key financial risks and non-financial risks
- Lead audit support assignments for key clients in complex areas, such as hedging, debt and capital transactions and derivative transactions
- E xecute consulting assignments relating to treasury and risk management strategies, organizational leading practices and treasury process improvements (design and implementation)
- Provide accounting advice related to IFRS and US GAAP, including but not limited to hedge accounting and complex financial instruments
- Treasury and risk management c ontrol f ramework design and implementation (including support of our clients' internal audit on treasury projects)
- Participate in business development and marketing our treasury and risk management capabilities in Canada , including but not limited to w riting proposals, reports and delivering presentations .
Experiences and skills you will use to solve
- Considerable experience with IFRS and / or US GAAP
- Knowledge of financial markets, capital market products and derivatives
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving and multitasking / project management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in risk management, treasury, financial services and / or regulatory compliance is a plus
- Proficiency in treasury management systems and financial software is a plus
- CPA, CFA or Master's degree in Finance or Accounting is a plus
