Job Description
Our client in the non-profit industry is looking for a Communications & Marketing Specialist to join their team! This is a full-time permanent role that is 100% remote.
As a communications & marketing specialist, you will be responsible for crafting and delivering key messages to various stakeholders, both internal and external, to enhance the organization's reputation and achieve its communication objectives.
You will collaborate with different departments to ensure consistency and effectiveness in all communications efforts.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Identifying target audiences, determining key messages, and selecting appropriate communication channels
- Write various types of content such as press releases, articles, blog posts, social media posts, newsletters, and external / internal communications materials
- Manage social media content
- Assist the communications team with media monitoring activities
- Assist in the facilitation of webinars
- Prepare regular reports and presentations
- Edit, review and oversee slide decks
- Other duties as required
Qualifications and Skills
- A degree or diploma in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in a communications role, performing similar duties
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms including social media management tools, content management systems, and email marketing software.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
