We are looking to fill the position of Line and Prep Cook at Fernie Alpine Resort . Our guests come back because of the amazing food you are able to produce at a professional and passionate level.
Your execution of our delicious meals will contribute to the amazing dining experience to our guests. The ideal candidate will be an energetic individual with a willingness to learn new skills, have a positive attitude, be teamwork-oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

You Will :
- Prepare food items according to resort F&B specifications
- Follow kitchen’s systems & principles
- Promote a safe, sanitized work environment, ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness, safety and food storage management
- Ensure the highest level of service and guest experience
- Provide non-stop team work with your teammates and managers
- Know and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
- Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
- Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management / Return-to-Work Programs
- Perform other tasks and duties that are applicable
You Have :
- Previous cook and food preparation experience required
- Cook training certification or equivalent an asset
- Food safe certification an asset, may be obtained upon hire
- A willingness to learn new skills and have a positive attitude
