Description
We are currently looking for a hardworking, charismatic individual to join our team as an Order Picker / Warehouse Associate at our Guelph, Ontario location.
The Order Picker / Warehouse Associate will manage pick ticket orders from warehouse staff and management, physically pull inventory from the shelves, pack orders, shrink wrap contents onto pallets, and load pallets onto trucks for delivery while ensuring orders are accurate and records of inventory are kept up to date for a smooth warehouse operation.
Shift : Monday to Friday; 7 : 30 . 4 : 00 .

Responsibilities :
- Accurately gathers products and items to fulfill an order for an internal or external customer.
- Completes all necessary paperwork accurately within the required timeframe.
- Cleans and tidies as required to maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts to ensure proper inventory numbers.
- Loading and unloading of inventory, stock, and supplies as required.
- Putting away incoming inventory into specified areas.
- Maintains a high level of health and safety standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED.
- Plans workload in conjunction with Manager / Supervisor with flexibility to adjust according to customer requirements.
- Works safely with warehouse equipment, minimizing risk to people, machinery, and products.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Works with minimal supervision.
- Prioritizes tasks to maintain production quotas.
- Strong inventory skills, experience working with a RF scanner, knowledge of or ability to learn warehouse data systems.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiar with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks and other necessary warehouse equipment.
- Solid communication skills, above average written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Physical stamina, dexterity for type of work, ability to stay on feet for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Forklift and walkie-reach experience would be considered an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to work on a team but be self-motivated and independent at times.
