Job Title : General LabourReports to : Lead Hand / SupervisorJob Summary : General Labour is responsible for manufacturing tube according to customer satisfaction;
checking for quality using check fixtures; operate machines according customer specifications; counting manufactured parts.Job Responsibilities :
- Operate assigned machine.
- Load and unload machine.
- Accurately tracking how many parts are produced.
- Check quality of parts using check fixtures.
- Complete check sheets and scrap logs.
- Communicate issues with Set-Up Operator.
- Adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Adhere to the rules and regulations of fischer Canada
- Additional duties as required.
Qualifications :
- Demonstrated commitment to working.
- Self-motivated, able to work with limited supervision.
- Good dexterity.
- Ability to read and write.
- Attention to detail.
Desired Education : Some High School education or equivalent.Desired Job Experience : 1-2 months manufacturing experience.
Certifications Required : N / AWorking Conditions :
- 8 hour shifts.
- Straight shift : days, afternoons, or midnights.
- Overtime as required.
