About the Role
- Consult, collaborate, and identify opportunities with subject matter experts across the wholesale business to inform external communications plans and content
- Develop and implement internal and external communications using priorities and our goals and different partner groups.
- Connect the dots and ensure agreement on other divisional and enterprise priorities.
- Focus on internal engagement, creating more awareness about this area of the business and its importance.
- Work with business leaders on the latest issues related to the wholesale business and its customers.
- Coach and prepare leaders to bring communications to life with stakeholder groups.
- Create all necessary internal and external communications assets to support the successful communications to our partners.
- Anticipate and integrate future trends on communication strategies and all comms engagement tools.
- Provide ownership and ongoing improvement of digital assets for wholesale customers.
- Work with senior leaders of the Corporate Communications team on the execution of broader communications priorities (e.
g. leadership meetings, LCBO-wide communications, and events).
About You
- University Degree in Communications or Public Relations or related field.
- 8+ years of experience, at least five of which are at a manager level supporting executives.
- Experience leading corporate communications, public relations, and issues management with experience driving desired outcomes, identifying risks, and identifying solutions in fast-past, evolving situations.
- An expert in applying all internal communications channels and touchpoints, including in a unionized environment.
- Experience with change management and communicating important programs across multiple target audiences.
- Ability to develop comprehensive integrated communications and engagement strategies to help achieve business and program goals.
- Strategic orientation across multiple communications channels according to strategic plans.
- Interest in B2B communications, with experience understanding business operations.
