RoleOverview
As a Business DevelopmentRepresentative at ABGi Canada you will report to the Sales Managerwith a focused territory within a greater synergetic team with thegoal of supporting Business Development Managers in settingappointments with new accounts.
In this team and partneredrelationship you will be highly strategic as you work towards quotaattainment and building immediate value credibility and trustthrough direct calls and leads on a daytoday basis.
This role ishybrid within either our Ontario or Montreal office but focused onaccounts across Canada.
Responsibilities (A Day in theLife)
- Source newsales opportunities through cold calls emails LinkedIn and socialnetworks.
- Qualify customer needs andrequirements to meet minimum requirements.
- Followup with prospects and inbound leads in a timelymanner always with a focus on the close.
- Routequalified opportunities to the BDM for further development andclosure
- Maintain and expand database ofprospects through cold calling marketing channels and other toolsas assigned.
- Understand monthly quota andpartner with BDMS to work backwards into quota while alwaysunderstanding your funnel metrics through Salesforce.
- Support sales team through administrative tasks to driverevenue forward.
- Maintain and record allsales and customer activity in Salesforce CRM on a daily basis.
BasicQualifications
- Minimumof 3 years of B2B professional sales experience inside or outside
- Must have experience selling with coldcalling into companies preferably middlemarket andenterpriselevel
- Must have experience workingwith a sales related CRM
- Must have proventrack record of sales success of hitting quota and understand salesfunnel metrics.
- Must be willing tohit weekly and monthly individual and team target KPIs and strivingfor prospect and customer excellence.
PreferredQualifications :
- Experience selling in the tax credits and incentivesindustry financial services or professional services.
- Experience working with SalesforceCRM
- Bachelors degree orhigher related education
- Ability to speakFrench and English fluently in a business settingpreferred
