Digital Product Owner
Location : Toronto, ON Hybrid - (Preference for being in-office from Tuesday to Thursday)
Contract Length : 12 Months with possibility of extension.

What will you do? (there is lots more on this in a nutshell )
- Drive and Lead Agile Product Development by closely working with Scrum Master and development teams.
- Prioritize backlog based on client value.
- Influence stakeholders to deliver features / initiatives on time.
- Facilitate sprint demos and accept the features.
- Work with MD to align with the overall Banking One product roadmap.
- Develop Digital Product Vision for Banking One inbound client channels (e.g. to receive instructions for cash, securities, FX Standing Instructions etc.)
- Partner with UI and UX team to create a seamless digital experience within Banking One.
- Work with internal Cyber, Fraud and Risk partners to ensure product suite meets compliance, legal, and internal policy requirements.
If you are right for his role, you probably have :
- 5+ years of experience of developing Solutions within Asset Servicing for Asset Management and Pension Clients.
- 5+ years of relevant experience as a digital product owner or in a similar role.
- Strong communication, negotiation abilities and strategic thinking.
- CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) certification.
- Agile working knowledge.
- Previous experience to prioritize digital backlog effectively translating that into multi year product roadmaps in collaboration with technology teams.
- Ability to work effectively within agile product development environment and deliver external client facing solutions.
- Worked within a bank environment.
Nice-to-have Skills :
- 5-10 years of track record to seek out innovative solutions and embrace evolving technologies to deliver solutions for clients.
- Past experience of doing customer interviews, surveys, usability tests, competitor analysis etc.
- Solid track record of effective stakeholder management to define Objectives, Key Results (OKR’s), release-specific success metrics etc.
- Leading Digital and Data Innovation.
- Competitor Analysis.
- Completed CFA Level 1 or CSC.
