On behalf of our client, Matchbox Consulting is seeking a SR Project Manager , the candidate must have Highrise experience, experience with masterplan communities an asset.
As a Senior Project Manager, you'll lead the project team by providing clear direction, technical expertise, and contractual guidance to trade contractors.
Your role involves direct communication with stakeholders, ensuring contracts align with project scope, and overseeing compliance with safety standards and regulations.
With a focus on quality control and schedule management, you'll coordinate with various parties to ensure project success.
Responsibilities :
- Champion a strong safety culture and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Manage trade contracts, from tender development to contract drafting, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with trade contractors and site superintendents to meet scope and schedule expectations.
- Facilitate consultant reviews and address requests for information (RFIs) and site instructions.
- Monitor quality control and review subcontractor work to ensure adherence to standards.
- Oversee project scheduling and communicate updates as necessary.
- Review progress draw requests and approve payments to trade contractors.
- Lead change order management process, including pricing negotiation and contract adjustments.
- Ensure project closeout activities, including deficiency lists and documentation submission.
- Chair meetings, develop agendas, and compile project reports as needed.
Requirements :
- Strong understanding of site safety and high rise concrete construction procedures.
- Proficiency in construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Knowledge of project management best practices and construction methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders.
- Ability to identify and resolve constructability issues and provide guidance to the team.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Decision-making skills and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Conflict resolution skills while maintaining positive relationships and achieving fair resolutions.
