Position Overview : We're looking for a French-speaking Senior Project Manager with VR professional services experience and full client lifecycle experience : Pre-sales support, Discovery and Planning, and Project Delivery.
This role is ONLY open to Canadian citizens / PR living in Canda (preferably in BC, Ottawa or Toronto). You must be Fluent in French and be able to travel to be considered for this role.
This job entails working on a VR Training project for a Canadian educational institution whilst supporting our Innovation team with other internal VR and AI technology projects.
Key Responsibilities : 1. Pre-sales Project Management (20%) Collaborate with sales and technical teams to capture requirements, estimate effort, develop resource plans, and prepare proposals.
Craft Statements of Work (SoW) to outline project scope, assumptions, resources, constraints, budget, and timeline. 2. Project Management (30%) Lead Discovery and Planning phases, conducting client workshops, defining business requirements, and creating project plans and SoWs.
Manage cross-functional teams during the Delivery / Build Phase, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and quality project delivery.
Act as the primary client liaison, managing communication, decisions, and risks to ensure high customer and team satisfaction.
Utilize Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) with 2-3 week Iterations / Sprints. 3. Product Owner / Content Lead (50%) ollaborate with the executive team to conduct market research, define problem statements, develop go-to-market strategies, and create product roadmaps.
Work with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize requirements, maintain backlogs, and ensure timely and quality product releases.
Skills & Qualifications : Must-Have : 3+ years of project management experience in technical professional services and digital projects.
Fluency in both English & French. You must have experience with conducting business in French. Experience working on VR, AR or XR technology projects (ideally Unity PS / VR Training).
Certified Scum Master. A proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget while fostering effective client and team relationships.
Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, facilitation, and negotiation skills. The ability to thrive in diverse teams, maintain composure under pressure, and uphold professionalism and humour.
Strong analytical and financial acumen for forecasting revenue, expenses, and project milestones. Canadian resident or PR status.
Residency in Canada, preferably in BC, Ottawa, or Toronto. The ability to travel internationally. Nice-to-Have : Experience working with AI.
Experience within the financial services industry. Location : This position is 100% remote; however, only candidates based in Canada and with Canadian Citizenship or PR status will be considered.
Some regional and international travel will be required to meet with the client and fulfill business needs. While Aequilibrium is a remote-first company, we host in-person social events and team-building activities.
Compensation : CAD $100K $130K annually, commensurate with skills, experience, and market data.
