We are currently hiring Prep Cooks to join our Culinary Team at Townhall Public House in Chilliwack!
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items in accordance with the organization's specifications. Along with the Head Chef and Sous Chef and culinary team, they responsible to maintain high level food quality and presentation.
Our ideal candidate has :
- Minimum of 1 years' experience in a professional kitchen (required)
- Food Safe, Level 1 certification
- First Aid Level 1, preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced environment

Responsibilities include :
- Preparing and cooking menu items to specifications
- Maintaining sanitation standards in accordance with JRG Safe Food Handling practices and local health protection standards
- Maintain high levels of food quality
- Daily cleaning and maintenance to ensure a sanitary and safe work environment
- Setting and restocking food service stations
- Maintaining a respectful workplace in accordance with organizational Policies and Procedures
Working Conditions :
Hours and shifts may vary. Includes working evenings, weekends and holidays. Work is performed in restaurant kitchen and office environments.
Minimum of 1 year experience in a professional kitchen
- Food Safe Level 1
- First Aid Level 1, preferred but not mandatory
