Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their project immediately and will run for approximately 12 months.
Work will be preformed remotely with occasional on-site requirements.
- The ideal candidate will have experience with SAP TPM (Trade Promotion Management) - Nice to have.
- This role requires a blend of project management with a preference of the following industries Food / Beverage, CPG , Retail etc.
Project Planning & Execution :
o Refine project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.
o Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
o Ensure all aspects of the SAP TPM implementation are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Stakeholder Management :
o Act as the main point of contact between the client and internal teams.
o Facilitate discussions with key stakeholders and align the TPM solution with business processes.
o Provide regular updates to the client and team members on project progress, risks, and mitigations.
Team Leadership :
o Lead cross-functional teams, including SAP consultants, developers, and client-side teams.
o Assign tasks to project team members and ensure accountability.
o Motivate and guide team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Risk Management :
o Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks.
o Implement contingency plans when necessary to keep the project on track.
Budget and Time Management :
o Monitor and control project expenditures, ensuring financial targets are met.
o Manage resource allocation efficiently.
Quality Assurance :
o Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with organizational requirements.
o Oversee testing phases, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Change Management :
o Drive change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of the new system.
o Work closely with the client to address concerns and facilitate organizational change.
- 8+ years of project management experience, with at least 3-5 years in managing SAP Implementation projects
- Experience with managing large scale SAP Implementation projects, preferably in Food / Beverage , CPG industry.
- Understanding of SAP TPM, CRM, and related modules like BW / BI, and integration points preferred.
- Preference for contractors based in the GTA.
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
