What will your typical day look like?

The Senior Project Manager Technology & Infrastructure will be responsible for managing our most complex projects in the Corporate Real-Estate space.

They will demonstrate a strong expertise in project management methodologies and processes, specifically as it relates to Technology & Infrastructure projects.

They will be accountable and perform strong stakeholder management with some of the most senior leaders in our firm. Additionally, this person will lead and coach a small team of other project managers.

About the team

The Technology & Infrastructure project management team is a small but mighty team that handles all critical infrastructure security, cloud projects and Corporate Real Estate IT projects for Deloitte Technology Canada.

With offices across Canada, and a desire to stay current with technology and infrastructure solutions, there is never a dull moment in this space.

This role reports into the Director, part of Canadian-wide Project Management Office and provide leadership, coaching and guidance to four other project managers.

Projects in this space are dynamic, agile and vary in complexity from easy to very complex.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

You are someone with :

• Project Management experience, preferably within Consulting or Professional Services industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Business / IT and / or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years experience managing large, complex, cross-functional IT projects.
• 5+ years experience utilizing a structured project management methodology and formal tools / approaches.
• Ability to encourage, motivate and mentor team members.
• Proven infrastructure knowledge and experience is required, including understanding of infrastructure technologies (Server Hardware / Software, Virtual and Cloud infrastructure concepts, Networks, Cyber-Security etc.).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ability to interact and work collaboratively with senior Firm leadership.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to adjust messaging as appropriate to the audience.
• Experience implementing standard operating procedures and processes and proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
