What is the opportunity? In this role, you will lead the QE activities in assigned squads and the automation of a variety of applications (Mobile, Web, and Desktop) to drive continuous testing in DevOps Pipelines.
You will support QE transformation initiatives leveraging Next Generation Solutions. Applying your background in development and test automation, you will provide coaching and mentoring in the development, maintenance, and execution of continuous testing. What will you do?
Lead Test Automation effort across teams / projects and mentor / coach other technical resources
Implement / maintain Automation of API’s, Mobile, Web, and Desktop applications
Implement / maintain DevOps pipeline as per Quality Engineering Practices
Implement / maintain Service Virtualization (SV)
Develop and execute test plans for Agile squads / journeys
Drive quality and champion defect prevention / early defect detection
Responsible for maximizing test coverage and using business analysis techniques to optimize testing activities
What do you need to succeed? Must-have
University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
5+ years’ experience leading testing projects for complex use cases / business requirements in the insurance industry.
3+ years of experience in QE in the Insurance industry
Proven experience developing and implementing test automation framework like Selenium, Cypress.
Development experience with one or more of the following : Java, Python, C#, JavaScript
Nice-to-have
Experience in testing Salesforce Financial Cloud implementations, preferably in Insurance or other financial institutions.
Experience in a variety of environments (cloud, distributed, business workflows, web services / APIs)
Test Management and Defect Tracking tool experience on qTest, JIRA
