Salary : $120,000 - $140,000 CAN + Benefits

Our client is looking for a Senior Tax Compliance Accountant to add to their team in Montréal, Québec. Our client is an accounting firm serving a diverse clientele of family and owner-managed businesses, public and not-for-profit organizations, and high net worth individuals, helping manage their financial reporting requirements, resolve challenges, and achieve their business and financial goals.

Our client is looking for an accounting professional with experience working in an accounting firm, with a strong background in Canadian business tax compliance who can work as part of a team but can also autonomously prepare and review tax documents, consistently delivering a high-quality of work.

Senior Accountant, Tax Compliance (5+ yrs exp. req. + CPA pref.) Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients and internal team
  • Advise on accounting and compliance strategies
  • Prepare and review compilations and tax engagements
  • Prepare and review personal income tax returns
  • Manage deadlines and day-to-day planning of workflow
  • Mentor junior team members, enhancing skills and foster ongoing professional growth
  • Oversee team performance; provide guidance to ensure high-quality work and efficient operations

Senior Accountant, Tax Compliance (5+ yrs exp. req. + CPA pref.) Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance required, with CPA certification preferred
  • 5+ years of accounting experience at an accounting firm required
  • Expertise with Canadian business (corporate and year-end) tax compliance required
  • Proficient with MS Excel required
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail required
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking) required

Comptable Senior, Conformité Fiscale (5 ans ou plus d'expérience requis + CPA préférée)

Salaire : 120 000 $ - 140 000 $ CAD + Avantages sociaux

Notre client recherche un Comptable Senior en Conformité Fiscale pour rejoindre son équipe à Montréal, Québec. Notre client est un cabinet comptable servant une clientèle diversifiée de familles et d'entreprises gérées par leurs propriétaires, d'organisations publiques et à but non lucratif, ainsi que d'individus à valeur nette élevée, les aidant à gérer leurs exigences en matière de rapports financiers, à résoudre les défis et à atteindre leurs objectifs d'affaires et financiers.

Notre client recherche un professionnel de la comptabilité ayant une expérience de travail dans un cabinet comptable, ayant une solide expertise en conformité fiscale des entreprises canadiennes, capable de travailler en équipe mais également de manière autonome pour préparer et examiner des documents fiscaux, tout en assurant une qualité de travail constante et élevée.

Responsabilités du Comptable Senior, Conformité Fiscale

  • Collaborer avec les clients et l'équipe interne
  • Conseiller sur les stratégies comptables et de conformité
  • Préparer et réviser des compilations et des mandats fiscaux
  • Préparer et réviser des déclarations de revenus personnels
  • Gérer les échéances et la planification quotidienne du flux de travail
  • Encadrer les membres juniors de l'équipe, en améliorant leurs compétences et en favorisant une croissance professionnelle continue
  • Superviser la performance de l'équipe ; fournir des orientations pour assurer un travail de haute qualité et des opérations efficaces

Qualifications du Comptable Senior, Conformité Fiscale

  • Diplôme en Comptabilité ou Finance requise, avec certification CPA préférée
  • 5 ans ou plus d'expérience en comptabilité dans un cabinet comptable requis
  • Expertise en conformité fiscale des entreprises canadiennes (corporative et de fin d'année) requise
  • Maîtrise de MS Excel requise
  • Excellentes compétences analytiques et organisationnelles avec une attention impeccable aux détails requise
  • Maîtrise de l'anglais (lecture, écriture, parole) requise
