The Advisor, International Tax Compliance and Tax Accounting is responsible for ensuring the compliance of BRP's legal entities outside Canada and US with all relevant tax legislations.
In this role, they will be responsible for the quality and completeness of the GloBE information return filed by BRP. They will also be responsible for the quality and completeness of the quarterly consolidated tax provision, its analysis, documentation, and audit, as well as its reporting in BRP's public documents.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO :
- Monitor the legislative changes to the Canadian Global Minimum Tax Act and corresponding legislations around the world, as well as their interpretations, applications and technical orientations issued by the different countries and / or the OECD.
- Develop and maintain processes and tools required to file all tax forms worldwide related to those measures.
- Monitor BRP's subsidiaries (outside Canada and US) tax return status to ensure timely analysis and filing and make sure any required adjustments are booked in BRP'S accounts.
- Maintain the alignment between the tax team and the finance team for the review of the consolidated tax provision.
- Ensure the applicable SOX controls under his (her) responsibility are followed rigorously and on a timely matter.
YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES :
- Recognized professional title in accounting.
- Master's degree in taxation or equivalent.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in tax.
- Knowledge of English (oral and written).
- Good management of priorities and deadlines.
